Director of Clinical Services

Nicole Valentine is the Director of Clinical Services for Privis Health.  In this role, she oversees platform content development related to biopsychosocial factors related to health outcomes. Ms. Valentine, a Licensed Clinical Masters Social Worker, received her undergraduate education at Michigan State University and her graduate degree with a focus on interpersonal relationships and clinical practice from the University of Michigan’s School of Social Work.  Ms. Valentine brings a wide range of health care and social work care management expertise to the team.  She started her career in the hospital inpatient setting at Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit where she provided crisis intervention and medical social work services for patients in the emergency room and inpatient units.  Additionally, Ms. Valentine has experience in the health plan setting where she served as a consulting social worker for Harbor Health Plan.  Most recently, Ms. Valentine worked as the Director of Community Resources for U.S. Medical Management, where she was responsible for collaborating with RN Care Managers and Care Coordinators to provide SW Care Management services for highly challenging cases.  While at USMM, she developed a resource network that spanned 14 states and 43 practice locations, established programs and relationships with community stakeholders, and engaged with leadership on initiatives around CMS Shared Savings Programs.
